On November 30th, Torneiras Roriz SA received the visit of the Minister of Economy, Dr. Manuel Caldeira Cabral, who considered the company “a good example of how exports are growing, and how exporting companies are creating employment and helping the growth of the Portuguese economy “.
José Maria Roriz, the company’s administrator, accompanied the Minister during his visit to the production facilities, where Manuel Caldeira Cabral had the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in terms of faucet design and water saving mechanisms. At the forefront of research in responding to global concerns such as water scarcity, Torneiras Roriz launched a “smart faucet” that saves water and energy. This innovative system ensures savings of at least 50% when compared to traditional mechanisms.
Manuel Caldeira Cabral congratulated Mr. José Roriz for the excellent performance of the company, which this year will reach a turnover of 11 million euros, with a growth of 23% over the previous year, and which exports around 70% of its production.
With a total of 70 employees, Torneiras Roriz SA has been growing steadily throughout its 40 years of existence, and plans to expand its facilities during 2018, in an investment of 1 million euros, that will allow the creation of ten more jobs and to leverage Roriz’s business in foreign markets, where the company bets strongly on its own brand, already recognized for the quality of Roriz products.

The Big 5 fair in Dubai has been the scene of the most important and prestigious meeting of construction professionals in the Middle East, generating around 80 thousand attendances and 2500 exhibitors. The importance of this event is enormous, and following the growth and internationalization strategy of the company Torneiras Roriz SA, our presence was, for the 5th time, a success in this geographic area, in which we continue to affirm ourselves as a brand of success.
Our space has again aroused great interest among Architects, Engineers, designers, builders and distributors.
This important event was also the opportunity to launch the new JOY series, which stands out for its design and competitive price, and was widely appreciated by those who visited us.
It is also worth mentioning the presentation of the various types of finishes on the exposed faucets, such as the Soft Touch in black and white colors, as well as Gold and Rose Gold, that meet the latest trends in the world of Interior Design.
